Beautiful Margot arrived into this world with such a peaceful demeanor. I knew immediately we would capture some sweet moments. This was the VERY FIRST shot of the day.

This is Mommy's lace bridal wrap....we snatched a couple of opportunities to cascade it over Margot while she was in a deep sleep.

Into the cocoon she goes...and she fit perfectly.

Margot is named after both great grandmothers. It was important to Mom especially to include this locket of her primary namesake. (Mom also carried this locket in her bridal bouquet.) Definitely my favorite series of shots from the day.

I also always incorporate a newborn's teeny size next to her parents' hands and fingers. This doesn't last long but now it's captured forever.

And a reminder that 1 plus 1 really equals 3.

First family photos must not only capture 3 people in one frame, but also the feelings they all have for each other.
