Sweet Baby Riley had a slightly later than usual photo session but at 2 weeks of age, she was as calm as any 7 day old. ;-) It was so fun to capture these series of stylized images while she cooed, slept and then cooed again.

A quick outfit change to capture this next set of images. With styling, I prefer the "less is more" approach. Few colors and interesting textures. She also has a sweet connection with the camera, doesn't she?

In sleep mode, we captured these peaceful solo moments. My favorite includes dad's gentle touch.

Pictures with big sis are a must. I love that you can see how gentle she is with her new playmate.

Little fingers holding even littler fingers. Their sweet faces are intentionally blurred in the background to avoid distraction but still have a soft presence.

I just had to get this portrait. She is so stinkin' cute! And look at the catch light in her sparkling eyes. Love.

And here's gorgeous mama holding her newest little bundle of joy.

Sneaking in an unstylized portrait in mom's arms by the beautiful window light.

Mom and dad gazing at their sweet babe. I like to capture this special time in a variety of ways.

As families grow, it becomes more challenging for busy, tired parents to get family photos. It's never to early to start at a newborn session.

Grandma was a great help and here she is smitten with Riley. (And assistant to Riley's first fist bump with sis.)

A variety of images featuring Riley's caring dad. The "strong arms" image is always a fave of mine. I also really like the natural light shadows in the blanket image.

I never tire of this symbolic pic. Never.

In between all the feedings, diaper changes and we-don't-know-why-she-is-crying moments of parenthood, there's this. My wish for you is to remember it always.
